Fresh Choice Supermarket had out-grown their old premises in Tinwald. They selected a new site in a location with better traffic volumes and additional land for a larger carpark. However, the site was without a reticulated drainage network and located on former industrial land.
Working with the project’s geotechnical engineer, e2Environmental designed a stormwater system that takes advantage of ground soakage while allowing contaminated gravels to be retained onsite under the building foundations. e2Environmental were also responsible for extending services to the new building and designing the pavements for the new building.
e2Environmental provided construction design support and auditing during construction to ensure that the designs were followed, and any unforeseen elements were overcome during construction.
